GMA and TechFlow hold AI & Gaming Nexus in Singapore, with talks centered on game investing and project survival in the AI era
Game Mine Alliance and TechFlow held the AI & Gaming Nexus event in Singapore on Oct. 6, bringing together participants from AI, gaming, Web3, investment, and startup circles. The event focused on how AI is changing game production, user experience, and business models, with more than 600 online registrations, according to the organizers. Support came from PumpSnake, the9bit, 0G, Waterdrip Capital, IOSG, AZverse, Miuro.AI, Cddjap, Bifire investment, and media partners including Foresight News, TechFlow, and PANews. Discussions at the venue centered on two themes: game investment after hype fades and how projects can survive in the AI era. Speakers said AI is lowering the barriers to development and content production, but they argued that the core of competition in games still comes down to playability, user retention, distribution efficiency, and long-term relationships. The panels also explored the possibility that AI NPCs could evolve into persistent in-game participants that interact and grow with players over time.
